Cancellation Policy
To honor everyone’s time and preparation, cancellations are subject to a 50% service fee. When you book an appointment, that time is reserved exclusively for you—preventing others from accessing that slot. Thank you for respecting the value of time and the care that goes into each session.
Booking Your First Appointment
For first-time clients, a brief phone consultation is required before scheduling. This ensures we’re aligned on your goals and that your experience is safe, comfortable, and effective.
The consultation includes:
- Completion of intake paperwork
- Discussion of any injuries or areas of concern
- Consent to treatment and touch
Note: First-time bookings are no longer accepted via text. Please call directly to schedule your initial consultation.
If you were referred by someone, kindly provide their name. If you're unsure, please refrain from stating a referral.
Appointment Times
Current hours of operation are listed on the Schedule page and on Yelp, and are updated regularly to reflect holidays and seasonal changes.
Please note: Appointments are only accepted after 5:00 PM on weekdays.
Client Booking, Payment, and Professional Conduct Policy
At Healing Hands by Vaughn, my goal is to provide a safe, structured, and professional therapeutic environment for every client. To maintain the highest standard of care, the following policies apply to all services without exception.
Booking Policy
All appointments must be scheduled exclusively through my official booking platform (Mindbody). This system ensures accurate scheduling, proper documentation, and fairness to all clients.
I do not accept appointments via text message, phone call, email, or any alternative method.
Rates & Payment
All services are billed at the rates listed on my business website. These rates reflect the level of training, specialization, and care provided.
Rates are firm and non‑negotiable.
Payment is required at the time of booking or immediately following the session, depending on the service type.
Session Length & Time Boundaries
Each session begins and ends at the time reserved.
- A 90‑minute session concludes at 90 minutes.
- A 2‑hour session must be booked in advance as a 2‑hour session.
If additional time is needed, it must be scheduled and paid for ahead of time. Sessions will not be extended beyond the booked duration without appropriate payment and availability.
Professional Conduct & Expectations
Respectful communication and behavior are required at all times.
Disruptive behavior—including refusal to follow booking procedures, attempts to negotiate pricing, or inappropriate reactions to time boundaries—will not be tolerated.
Right to Decline or Discontinue Services
To maintain a safe and professional therapeutic environment, I reserve the right to decline or discontinue services for any client who:
- Refuses to use the required booking system
- Declines to pay established rates
- Disregards time boundaries
- Exhibits disrespectful, inappropriate, or disruptive behavior
This policy ensures that all clients receive consistent, ethical, and high‑quality care.
